A Santa’s Village in Downtown Los Angeles

Santa’s North Pole Village at Wisdome LA

Last Sunday, we were invited by the La Mommy Tribe to The Largest Immersive Holiday Experience in the Heart of DTLA Arts District, at the Santa’s North Pole Village at Wisdome LA. It is the first-ever immersive holiday experience taking place inside of four domes.

From your first steps inside, you can feel the Holiday joy with bubbles floating around reindeers, that move their heads and make children just want to run around them.

Our very first dome was a dome with a large mirror entry that makes you feel like you are in a Snow Queen’s (or Elsa from Frozen) Ice Castle. Inside you will find polar bears, penguins, and an interactive screen for taking pictures.

Next, we found the Grinch’s Chair, where they take pictures of you and you family and send it to your phone by text. So adorable. The elf who was taking the pictures, even made sure my son was looking at the camera before she took them.

The Synthetic Ice Skating is just great. You can strap on ice skates and glide around a Christmas Village. Above you, there is an Immersive Snow Show, which includes the Northern lights. Enjoy the display while you listen to your favorite Christmas music.

In the Santa’s Workshop dome, we got what was on our Christmas list, a family made gingerbread house. For an extra $15 we could decorate a gingerbread house. They wrap it so it’s ready to go to our house for Holiday snacks. The best part is I won’t need to pick the up the mess. And, I have gorgeous pictures I took while we made the mess.

XMAS

The last dome we enjoyed had ceiling projections of holiday cartoons and the Snowflake adventure ride in a 360 degree immersive adventure ride.

And finally, we had our pictures taken with the most adorable Santa. They let us take different shots and backgrounds, trying to get the perfect pic. This Santa had lots of patience with a toddler. The photos with Santa have an extra price of $25, but it’s totally worth it. We even took some videos for our toddler’s first experience with Santa Claus. A memorable Christmas experiences for our child and us.

I can’t tell you who enjoyed it more, our toddler or us.  But, definitely watching him so happy and absorbed in these immersive adventure domes make us even happier.
